A recent report also revealed that the city has become a "death trap" due to overcrowding and unplanned urban management.

The catastrophic consequences of last September 5th were the horrific mosque bombings that killed at least 11 people, including children, and many more are being treated, but the reason behind this is whether it is just an explosion or some other theory.

A few days ago, a gas pipeline burst on the ground floor of Dhanmondi and caught fire. At that time, a bus moving on the road also caught fire. Note that these gas pipelines in Dhaka are 35-40 years old or more.  In between, gas bubbles like water lines can be seen in the yard at different times or almost all the time.

Titas and DTCL are responsible for the supply and maintenance of these gas lines in Dhaka at different times. But the real picture is different.  Not to mention the dire situation, it can lead to terrible accidents in the future.

The Bangladesh government has formed a committee to look into the AC or overall management of mosques.

After all, corruption, lack of management, and the failure to take immediate action on this sensitive issue could lead to even more catastrophic accidents in the near future.
