Taipei-   On September 2, the Taiwanese government launched its new passport design with an independent identity, which is considered official from January. What came to the fore with the new passport, then what then ??? Will Taiwan is a part of China or remain a part of China ???  Many questions are going on in everyone's mind now.  The new passport denotes 'Taiwan' in Latin letters, downplaying the 'Republic of China'.

 According to the report, the design of the passport has long led to confusion, including that of the People's Republic of China, which is capitalized on the word 'passport'.  Taiwan and China had a cold war over this. Taiwan now has the name of its own country written on it and the word 'Republic of China' written in English has been deleted.

 Foreign Minister Joseph Wu told a news conference that the goal of the new passport was to separate Taiwan from China and separate the island from the Chinese government because lawmakers told the Foreign Ministry (MOFA) in July that they would do so.  The MOAFA has informed the International Airlines Association, foreign governments, airports, airlines and immigration authorities about the new Taiwanese passport.

 Sending them samples of the new cover, he said, the new design contained most of the elements of the previous passport, but now the cover appropriately refers to the country, Taiwan.  Authorities also removed the word 'passport', which now makes it clear that it is not a Chinese passport, but a Taiwanese passport.  Wu added at the state news conference that the new design of the Taiwanese passport was in response to a proposal passed in parliament.  This is a unanimous decision

  Hua then reconsidered the "one-China policy" as a key issue in Sino-Czech diplomatic relations.  He pointed out that Vistrikel's visit and Taiwan's overtake stood in stark contrast to Czech President Milos Zemon, who has sought to boost trade and political ties with China since taking office in 2013.  He also commented on the visit, claiming that the visit to Vistril had damaged Sino-Czech relations and called on the Eastern European country to take swift action to "remove the negative impact".  He then complained that Taiwan had never been part of a "communist country" and that "Taiwan's support for Vistril's" "separatist activities" could not succeed, despite the fact that Taiwan was "an integral part of China."

 

  On the other hand, there are several agreements between the mayors of Taipei and Prague. They appeared together on Friday (September 4th) and announced that the sister cities had reached an agreement on large and small projects during the Czech delegation's visit to Taiwan this week.

 The most notable event was the unveiling of its own symbol on the occasion of Taiwan's National Day on Friday (September 4) with the theme "Proud of Taiwan".
