| Imran Khan said Indian Cricket Team is becoming the top team in the world,besides said that but due to lack of productive cricket structure, they were not able to turn in favor of world defeat.

Karachi | Pakistan Prime Minister and former captain Imran Khan believes that the Indian cricket team is becoming the top team in the world after improving its basic cricket structure.
Imran said Pakistan has always been a good team but due to lack of productive cricket structure, they were not able to turn in favor of world defeat.
Speaking to media in Islamabad, Imran said, "Look at India today, they are becoming the top team in the world because they have improved their structure, although we have more talent."
“It will take time to work the structure and polish the talent, but I am confident that our team will beat the world,” he said.
The Prime Minister thinks that the establishment of a provincial cricket structure in the country will result in two to three years.
Imran, who was also the patron of the Pakistan Cricket Board and nominated the chairman, said he could not devote much time to the game due to his busy schedule.
“Honestly I couldn’t make time for cricket and didn’t even watch the matches but now that the structure of our core cricket has changed it will gradually improve,” he said.
Imran Khan led Pakistan to his only World Cup win in Australia in 1992 and is one of the country's most respected and talented men for his captaincy and performance on the cricket field.
Shortly after winning the 2018 Pakistan elections and forming a government, Imran inaugurated former ICC President Ehsan Moni to run the Pakistan Cricket Board.
In the last two years, the domestic cricket structure has seen only six provincial teams play first-class cricket, compared to about 16 regional and divisional teams in the past.
