 The Prime Minister will hold a meeting at Sahaganj in Hughli today.  Hooghly is mainly an agricultural and industrial district.  On the one hand there is a major agricultural region and on the other hand there are industries in this Hooghly district.  Again, the historical Singur movement of the grassroots has also taken place centering on this Hughli district.  This is the grassroots plagued by sectarian strife in Hughli.  The people of Singur have become rebels.  The BJP is reluctant to miss that opportunity.  So the people of Hooghly are keeping an eye on Modi's meeting in Sahaganj.  He is keeping an eye on what message he gave about Bengali industry from that meeting.
