According to the World Happiness Report, they "formulate policies that aim at the overall well-being and make community transmission a more obvious choice for them", according to the World Happiness Report.

The report is based on a three-year Gallup survey of how happy citizens feel.

"The epidemic reminds us of the global environmental threat, the urgent need for cooperation, and the difficulty of achieving cooperation in every country and globally," said Jeffrey D. Sachs, co-editor of Columbia University's Center for Sustainable Development.

The materials used for the assessment include per capita GDP, healthy year expectations, independence and government and business corruption.

The top ten also includes Denmark, Switzerland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Luxembourg and New Zealand.

Among other countries, America is ranked 20th, Russia 77th, China 85th and India 140th.

Rwanda, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan top the list with 149.

The report, published by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, was published in conjunction with World Happiness Day.
