 Maldaha BJP party worker shot, his condition is critical, BJP party leader Gopal Saha, miscreants shot him, BJP alleges BJP party worker was injured in the firing by local TMC miscreants.  Although the allegations have been denied by the TMC.

 At present, he has been admitted to the emergency department of Malda Medical College. His operation has started.

 The BJP has informed the Election Commission and the district superintendent of police in writing

Meanwhile, tension prevailed in the area following the incident. The Bengal police have begun an investigation into the firing incident on the BJP candidate. Further details are awaited.
