Giving an indication that the government is inclined to allow more trains to ply, the ministry of home affairs (MHA) said the movement of trains shall be permitted by the Ministry of
Railways
in a graded manner, in consultation with the ministry of health and family welfare (MoHFW) and the MHA.
"Train schedule, protocols for booking, entry and movement of passengers, and coach service specifications shall be widely publicised by the Ministry of Railways," the MHA order said.
The health advisories and guidelines will be circulated by the Ministry of Railways through the Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign for their staff members and passengers.

Passengers wishing to travel on these special trains will be able to book tickets only on the IRCTC website (https://www.irctc.co.inhttps://www.irctc.co.in/nget/) https://www.irctc.co.in/.in/). The national transporter has also said that ticket booking counters at all railway stations will remain closed. No counter tickets, including platform tickets, will be up for sale at the railway stations. All passengers on these 15 pairs of special services trains will have to wear face cover/mask and will be mandated to undergo screening at the time of departure. Only asymptomatic passengers will be allowed to travel on the trains.
