 Breking News: Delhi Police has issued a supplementary chargesheet against CPI (M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury, Swaraj Abhiyan leader Yogendra Yadav, economist Jayati Ghosh and Delhi University professor Apurbananda to provoke and persuade the movement of anti CAA Protest in Dellhi Riot

Delhi riots, anti-CA protests, Delhi Police have filed supplementary chargesheets in the names of Sitaram Yechury, general secretary of the CPM's politburo, and many others on the basis of statements made by students of NU, Jamia Millia University. 

New Delhi- Delhi Police has issued a supplementary chargesheet against CPI (M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury, Swaraj Abhiyan leader Yogendra Yadav, economist Jayati Ghosh and Delhi University professor Apurbananda for allegedly conducting a "persuasive movement" against the CAA.

  The case has already led to allegations against some of the nominees based on the statements of three already arrested students - the CAA / NRC was instructed to go to "extremists" to spread "community discontent" by portraying them as anti-Muslim and to hold "demonstrations to tarnish the image of the Indian government".

 Their names have been published in the supplementary chargesheet, a copy of which was given to PTI.  According to the chargesheet filed by the police, 53 people were killed and 571 injured, of whom 99 were shot and taken to hospital.  .

  Jogendra Yadav said, ‘I have noticed that I do not have a single sentence of my speech in the passing reference.  I was surprised that the Delhi Police did not try to see the recording of the parts of my speech that I said in public.  '

 (JNU), Debangana Kalita and Natasha Narwal (JNU), Golfisha Fatima (Jamia Millia). Chargesheets have been prepared in the names of these eminent persons on the basis of their statements. All three are being covered under the Prevention of Illegal Activities Act.

  In the Jayshita Ghosh chargesheet released just two days before the start of the monsoon session of Parliament, Delhi Police claimed that Kalita and Narwal not only admitted their involvement in the riots, but also mentioned their names. Not only their names but also Apurbananda and documentary filmmaker Rahul.  They, as their advisor to the verdict, who instructed them to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act and ‘to go to any kind of extremism.

 Their statement-chargesheet stated that according to the statements of two JNU students, they had organized the Dariaganj protest against CAA and the Jafrafad Road block on February 22, 2020 at the behest of Ghosh.  Whose leaders were Apurbananda and Roy.

 Kalita and Narwal further testified to the police that Ghosh, Apurbananda and Roy acted as liaison with the Islamic group Popular Front of India (PFI) and Jamia Coordination Committee as advisers to Pinjra Todd members to continue campaigning against CAA, according to the indictment.  .

  The indictment alleges that, excluding Yechury and Yogendra Yadav, Bhim Army chief Chandrasekhar Ravana, United Against Activist Umar Khalid and former MLA Amanatullah Khan were excluded.  According to the MLA, some leaders of the Muslim community, including Ahmed, are mentioned.

  The detainees were quoted as saying that these people helped the conspirators.  In her speech, Fatima said she was tasked with organizing the protest to "tarnish the image of the Indian government", police claimed.

 The names of Omar Khalid, Chandrashekhar Ravana, Yogendra Yadav, Sitaram Yechury, and lawyer Mahmud Pracha, among others, who were named in his statement in the chargesheet, provoked the crowd.

  According to the chargesheet, he said, "The propaganda says that the protest rally is your democratic right and the rest of the leaders have protested because of the dissatisfaction in the society by calling the CAA / NRC anti-Muslim."  According to the chargesheet, Kalita said Umar Khalid had some more plans to protest against the CAA / NRC.

  Initially, the police submitted a chargesheet and the rest of the incident will be investigated, the police said.
