Mumbai- Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Rhea Chakraborty today. He will now be produced to court on September 9, along with three other defendants who were arrested. NCB is likely to ask the court to detain the four of them for further questioning by the police.

Riya Chakraborty filed a fake prescription against Sushant Singh's sister Priyanka Rajput, Dr Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and others at the Bandra police station yesterday and allegedly provided drugs to the late actor. The lawyer for the family of the late actor, Bikash Singh, has termed the FIR as "illegal" as the Supreme Court has ruled that no third party can file a new case as the matter is already under the purview of the CBI. Due to this technical error, the SSK family requested the Bombay Supreme Court to raise the FIR in full.
