LAS VEGAS (KLS) - The Centennial Bowl Flyover Bridge on Beltway 215 on the western border from Southeastern U.S. Highway 95 will open Monday, Sept. 28, according to Nevada Department of Transportation sources. This is going to be one of the largest flyover projects in the United States

 

  The second longest 2,635-foot-long bridge in the state will be open to traffic from noon, the NDOT said.

  "Various technical changes to the new flyover, such as ramp efficiency and safety, will smooth out direct freeway-to-freeway travel," said NDO spokesman Tony Ilia.  Will be connected to the signal. "

  The 39-foot-wide flyover is 75 feet high.

  The $ 73 million Centennial Bowl project is expected to be completed by mid-December, according to project developers.  The project was laid in January 2019.  Las Las Vegas Paving Corporation Project Contractor.

  215 Beltway will add another flyover to the southeastern United States, which will be shorter - 1,655 feet long and 35 feet wide.

  According to the information available about the NDOT flyover

  A box girder structure made of cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete, with “equal space at the end of seven football fields”.

  The 13-span structure will be attached to four frames and is powered by 3 million pounds of steel rubber-it will use iron to make 45 Sherman tanks.

  Also 14,300 cubic yards of concrete 1,500 cement mix truck trips will be used which - enough to fill the 4.5 Olympic-sized swimming pool.

 

  According to the project plan, the large flyover, which is crucified in the middle section, will be 80 feet deep and 10 feet in diameter at the base of 60 drill piles.

 In addition, there are enhancements to other landscaping and intelligent traffic systems, the NDO said.

  Endotte notes that the state's longest bridge will connect Interstate 15 and the 1.6-mile-long Interstate 515 between Los Vegas on suburban Eastern Avenue.
