A man was stabbed inside the Notre Dame Basilica church in the French city of Nice, O'Malley was removed and two others were killed.


  The mayor of Nice, Christian Astrosi, tweeted that the incident was a "terrorist" attack.


  Here is what we know so far:


  At least three people, including one woman, were killed, two women and one person were killed.  The man is known to be the sixth of the church.

   

  Nice Mayor Christian Estrosi said it was a terrorist attack, and that "Islamo-fascist" attackers "had been shot and arrested, but Allahu Akbar did not stop shouting at the drug.


  France has raised its alert as a "state of emergency for terrorist attacks"

  Police believe the attacker, known as 'Brahim', was acting alone.

  Saudi national arrested for injuring with "a sharp instrument" outside French consulate in Jeddah



 Jeddah's latest

  A statement from Makkah police said the guard was "slightly injured" and that "legal action" was being taken against the perpetrator.


  The French embassy said the consulate "attacked with a knife that aimed at a guard", the guard was hospitalized and his life was not in danger.

  The witness gave the horror of the attack

  A witness named David, who owns a restaurant in Bryoch Square opposite the church, told BFMTV he alerted police.


  "I was selling croissants when a man came up to me and said, 'Monsieur, there's a woman trapped in the cathedral.'  I didn’t believe him at first but he repeated it.  I went to the cathedral and called the municipal police.  They came quickly.  "


  "I come back [to the restaurant] and open the security door."


  He added: “The man who came in was a man in the cathedral who was very surprised.  He simply said: "Secretary-General, there is a woman in the cathedral."  .  I was in mourning.  I'm still shivering.  "



  France has raised the level of alert in the 'terrorist attack emergency'

  France has raised its alert status to the highest level, raising the level of "terrorist attacks to a state of emergency", French Prime Minister Jean-Cassack has announced.




 Angela Merkel has promised to help the neighbor.

  Angela Merkel has agreed to show solidarity with France following the "brutal" attack on Nice.


  He wrote in a tweet posted by his spokesman Stephen Siebert, "I am deeply saddened by the brutal murder of the Church of Nice. My thoughts are with the relatives of those killed and injured. Germany stands by France in this difficult time," he said.  Tweet.

  Good mayor closing all the churches in town

  Nice Mayor Christian Estrosi said all churches would be closed and called on all people in the country to be closed for extra security or precaution.



  French government spokesman Gabriel Attal says his country will "never abandon its principles and values" in the fight against media freedom and Islamic extremism.



  Avionon has made suspicious 'threats to the public'



  Avignon police have confirmed that they "intimidated everyone with a weapon" after they shot and killed one person.


  Police have since released a statement saying the suspect was using "handguns" to threaten the public.

  Another suspicious attack has taken place in Avignon, France.


  A man chanting "Allahu Akbar" was arrested during an attack on police officers in a southeastern French city.

  A guard at the Saudi French consulate has been arrested in Jeddah for stabbing

 

  Meanwhile, a Saudi national was arrested for stabbing a security guard outside the French consulate with a "sharp weapon," Reuters reported.



  The French Catholic Church condemned the ‘indescribable’ attack

  The Catholic Church in France condemned it as an "indescribable attack" and warned: "Christians must not become a symbol of slaughter."

  The French Prime Minister made the statement

  French Prime Minister Jean Castex said the nation expresses grief and sympathy for the victim and her family.


  "This law is as barbaric as it is barbaric and has plunged the whole country into mourning," he told lawmakers.
