Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the annual India Energy Forum in Seraquick from today, which brings together more important energy leaders on the country's energy future.

   

  Modi will deliver the inaugural address at the virtual event on October 26-28, organizer IHS Markit said in a statement.


  The India Energy Forum, hosted by Siriwick, is now in its fourth year, and will be chaired by IHS Markit, one of the leading critics in the field of critical analysis and analysis.


  "The event will be attended by international speakers and delegates, as well as one thousand delegates from India and regional energy companies, energy-related industries, organizations and the government."



 Speakers at the event included energy ministers, senior industry officials and top national and international energy experts.


 In addition to the Prime Minister, Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, US Energy Secretary Dan Brawlett, Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Secretary General Mohammed Sanushi Barkindo and Saudi Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud will address the three-day event.


  Speakers include BP Group Chief Executive Bernard Looney, Total SA Chairman Patrick Poyani, Petronas Group CEO Tengku Muhammad Tawfiq, Reliance Industries chief Mukesh Ambani, Telurian Inc. President Meg Gentel.




  "On the way to the future of a new power, India wants to draw the world's attention.  The event will spur important discussions on opportunities, challenges and strategies in a rapidly changing world of energy, and India's role in it, ”said Daniel Yergin, Vice Chairman, IHS Markit


  The key issues to be explored are the impact of the epidemic on India's future energy demand, India's economic growth, energy transformation and the supply of climate agenda supplies, natural gas and refining and petrochemicals in the energy mix.


  "Fuel markets are closely monitoring the pace and direction of economic recovery in India as India's development significantly affects the future of the global energy market," said Atul Arya, Senior Vice President and Chief Energy Strategist at IHS Markets.


  He said that in this time of transformation and turmoil in the energy sector, India has chosen its own path.
