Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty reportedly had collapse on the set of his film in Musori. The actor was shooting "Kashmir Files" for director Vivek Agnihotri when he was suffering from food poisoning and couldn't even get up. A report on Mid-Day indicated that despite his condition, Chakraborty was adamant about quitting his role and continuing filming for the day.
On Saturday, the creators shot outdoors for a large action scene related to the character Chakraborty. However, when his condition got worse, Agnihgotri decided to pack up to find out that the seasoned actor was really determined to continue filming and end his role. The director joins in every day and says, "It was a large-scale action scene and all centered on the character Sir Mithun. He had severe food poisoning and couldn't even get up. After a short pause, he finished the sequence."
Vivek Agnihotri added that Dada (as Mithun Chakraborty is known) told him that he had not made a single film in the four years of his career for health reasons. After the veteran actors finished recruiting, the unit was asked to pack up and rest the lead actors. "When he returned to the set on Sunday morning, he was guaranteed to make up for the delay," said the director.
