The gas leak has now stopped. An investigation was also opened to find out the cause of the leak.

More than a dozen employees fell ill and two others died at the Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) in Fulpur after an ammonia spill late Tuesday.

According to the ANI agency, sick employees were hospitalized with a DM Prayagraj referral.

The gas leak has now stopped. An investigation was also opened to find out the cause of the leak.

 

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanat expressed his sorrow over the incident. He also instructed officers to implement support measures as soon as possible.
