  Washington, DC [USA]:- United States is a major cyber attack.  The United States confirmed on Sunday that hackers working on behalf of foreign governments had entered several major government networks, including the Treasury Department.

  According to a report in the Washington Post, the hackers are linked to the Russian government.  And part of a global spying campaign that, according to experts on the subject, took months of effort.

 

  Officials have been very active in taking effective preventive measures. They have tried to assess the extent of the problem.

 

  Although the Trump administration acknowledged that hacking had taken place, it did not release any documents.

 

  In a statement, National Security Council spokesman John Elliott said, "The United States Government is aware of this report and we are taking all necessary steps to identify and address potential issues related to this situation."  "

  The National Security Agency's cybersecurity agency, whose chairman was ousted by President Trump last month for alleged widespread election fraud, said in a statement that they too had been summoned.

 The Commerce Department, without naming names, acknowledged that part of the agency had been severely damaged.

  However, those involved in the intrusion investigation, who spoke to the Washington Post on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue, said the hacking was part of the country's foreign intelligence service, known as "APT 29 or Kozi Bear".  In some cases the email system has been hacked.

 

  The same group was involved in hacking the State Department and White House email servers during the Obama administration, the report added.

 

  The FBI has launched an investigation into the operation, which began in early spring and has no comment on Sunday.

 

  While some of the affected departments include government, consulting, technology, telecom and oil and gas companies in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, Fire has revealed that a cyber firm itself is a victim of breech.

  Firea revealed in a blog later on Sunday that all of this had been breached or hacked through a network management system update server built by SolarWinds firm.

 

  SolarWinds also said Sunday that monitoring products released in March and June of this year could be secretly applied to a "state-of-the-art, state-of-the-art, targeted ... attack."  "

 

  According to several people familiar with the matter, the scope of Russia's spying campaign seems to be large.  "It looks very, very bad," said one person (agency input).
