 Despite resigning from the cabinet, Shuvendu Adhikari has not yet clarified his political position.  In that situation, the Chief Minister and Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee will hold a meeting at the college ground in Medinipur today.  He reached Medinipur on Sunday evening.

 

  Trinamool All India President Subrata Bokshi reviewed the preparations of the meeting place on the grounds of Medinipur Collegiate School on Sunday.  He also held discussions with the district leadership.  The whole city is filled with flags, banners, hoardings.  The grassroots leadership, which has been campaigning for the Chief Minister's meeting for the last seven days, has claimed that at least two lakh people will be present at today's meeting.

 

  According to Mamata sources at the meeting on the same night, after reaching the Mednapur Circuit House in the evening, Mamata Banerjee summoned several leaders from Medinipur and Jhargram.  Naturally discusses with them the current organizational situation of the district.
