WASHINGTON: A single word from a large bureaucratic file on the seventh day of the Beadon administration is a huge piece of good news for the husbands of workers on H1B visas in the United States. Those who have been worried for the last four years that their work will be approved. The latest attempt by the Donald Trump administration to "repeal" the Obama-era law that allows a certain subset of H1B visa holders' spouses to work in the United States has not been legal in the United States until the summer of 2015.
The lawsuits were filed as soon as the Obama administration changed, and then complicated the issue over Trump's presidential H4 work permit.
The news spread online in various places, "Big news! Hopefully the H4ED delay will end soon which is leading to a long wait for dependent husbands," tweeted Rashi Bhatnagar.
The scaling fall of the H4 Work Permit (known as EAD) began in 2017, and the proposed rule has been discussed seven times for ongoing review.
