Cricket Council India (BCCI) president Surav Ganguly was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Calcutta on Wednesday after complaining of chest pain.
Sources said Ganguli had mild chest pain on Tuesday, but increased on Wednesday. Because of this, he was taken to the hospital without additional risk. He was taken to the hospital in a green corridor and is currently stable.
Sourov Ganguly suffered a minor heart attack in early January, after which the former India captain was immediately admitted to Woodlands Hospital in Calcutta. Ganguly experiences a sudden solar eclipse during a training session at a Behala resident on Jan.2. Angioplasty was successfully performed on Ganguly's right coronary artery after the 48-year-old man had a heart attack. However, the other two damaged arteries required angioplasty, but the doctors, after consulting with Ganguli and her family, decided that the procedure should be performed later.
Ganguly was diagnosed with three blocked coronary arteries and a stent was placed to clear the blockage.
