The newly constructed Motera cricket stadium in Ahmedabad was inaugurated on Wednesday. Motera Stadium was renamed after the Prime Minister of India. The new name of this state-of-the-art stadium is Narendra Modi Stadium. The world's largest cricket stadium has a capacity of 110,000 spectators. President Ramnath Kovind was present at the inauguration on Wednesday. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was also present. It is the first stadium in the world to have 4 dressing rooms and 6 air-conditioned corporate boxes. The world's largest cricket stadium is built on 63 acres of land.


 The Motera stadium is made of special technology and it is possible to play even if the water stands up to 4 cm. If it doesn't rain a lot, it will be possible to play in this field. Special attention has been paid to drainage system. A total of 11 pitches have been constructed in this stadium. In addition, the stadium has two types of indoor and outdoor practices.
