During the India Toys Fair in Delhi in 2021, the Prime Minister stated that the government had prepared a national toy action plan. It includes 15 ministries and departments to make this industry competitive, Aatmanirbhar, and provide it with a global platform.

1. "This first toy fair is not just a business or economic event. This program is a link to strengthening the country's centuries-old culture of sport and fun. 2. The Prime Minister said India had given the world some of the most popular games such as chess and madness. Chess, so popular in today's world, was once played in India as "Chaturanga or Chaduranga". Modern Ludo is played as "Pachisi". Our scriptures also contain toy descriptions of Lord Ram and young Lord Krishna. " she says.

3. Prime Minister Modi Speech , that Indian toys were still easier and cheaper than Western toys today, and urged manufacturers to make toys that are better for ecology and psychology.

"Try using less plastic in toys. Use items that can be recycled," he said.

5. Prime Minister Modi stated that the new national education policy also includes game-based education and training. “This is an educational system where logical and creative thinking in children can be enhanced through puzzles and games. Special attention is paid to this, "he said.

6. The Prime Minister stated that India combines tradition and technology with concepts and skills in the field of toys. "We can bring the world back to green toys. A national toy action plan has been put in place that includes 15 ministries and departments to make the industry competitive to bring Aatmanirbhar and Indian toys to the world," he said.

7. He added that the demand for "Made in India" and "Handmade in India" is gradually increasing worldwide, and people today are not only buying toys as products, but also connecting with the experiences they have.

In his speech to Man Ki Baat last August, the Prime Minister said toys not only increase activity, but also provide an escape for aspirations.

The four-day exhibition, from 27 February to 2 March, aims to bring together all stakeholders, including buyers, sellers, students, teachers and designers, on a virtual platform to build lasting connections and foster dialogue for the common development of the industry.

The platform will bring together government and industry to discuss how India can become the world's next hub for toy manufacturing and supply by attracting investment in the sector and increasing exports.

More than 1,000 exhibitors from more than 30 states and Union Territories display their products in virtual exhibitions with e-commerce options. It will feature traditional Indian toys as well as modern toys, including electronic toys, plush toys, puzzles and games.

The toy fair will also host webinars and panel discussions featuring leading Indian and international speakers with demonstrated skills in toy design and production.

The exhibition follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to make India independent in the toy industry.
