Earthquakes have also been reported in Jammu and Kashmir, Utarakhand, Punjab, Hariana, and Uttar Pradesh. In Srinagar, videos show people leaving their homes as the ground shakes.
Severe shaking was felt in parts of northern India, including New Delhi and as far as Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir late Friday. The tremors lasted a few seconds and were felt in parts of the National Capital Region (NCR).
