Chinese tech giant Tencent on Monday swore to contribute 50 billion yuan ($7.68 billion) in ecological and social activities, a move that comes as China's web heavyweights go under serious investigation from antitrust controllers. 

Tencent, China's greatest online media and computer games organization, said its speculation would finance activities in territories including essential science, instruction advancement, country revitalisation, carbon nonpartisanship, food, energy, and water arrangement, help with public crises, innovation for senior residents and public government assistance. 

It additionally said it is shaping a corporate improvement gathering to lead such activities. It didn't give a time period to its speculation. 

"Tencent should keep on reacting to the always changing requirements of people in general and of the time, to create and thrive along with society overall," Pony Ma, author and administrator of Tencent, said in a proclamation.
