US TO SEND INDIA SUPPLIES, RAW MATERIAL FOR COVID-19 immediately

United States will supply India with rapid rapid test kits(covid-19), ventilators and personal protective equipment (PPE).

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan spoke to National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on duty Friday and offered the Serum Institute of India to provide resources and supplies to advance production of the COVID-19 Covishield vaccine.

 He also said the United States will supply India with rapid rapid test kits, ventilators and personal protective equipment (PPE).

“The United States has identified specific raw material sources that are urgently needed in India's manufacture of the Covishield vaccine,

 which will be available immediately to India. To help treat COVID-19 patients and protect healthcare workers in India, the U.S. has identified shipments of therapies, rapid test kits, ventilators and personal protective equipment (PPE) that will be available immediately for India.
