WB (West Bengal) Assembly Election 2021 Live Updates: Voting in the third phase of West Bengal State Assembly Election is going on in three districts. Howrah, Hooghly and South 24 Parganas. Candidates will contest for a total of 31 seats in the three districts. Each seat is important to the anti-regime camp. A total of 16 seats in South 24 Parganas, seven seats in Howrah and eight seats in Hooghly will go to polls today.

News of riots has been coming from various places since the start of the polls. EVMs and 4 VVIPs were found from the house of Trinamool leader Gautam Ghosh in Uluberia North Assembly constituency of Howrah. The Election Commission has suspended the sector officer in this incident. Allegations of obstructing ISF candidates from entering the booth in Mograhat West despite having specific documents. Candidates sit outside the booth in protest. The BJP is accused of vandalizing the Trinamool Congress camp office at booth number 228 in Bagnan. Trinamool is accused of preventing ISF personnel from going to the polling booth at booth number 127 in Durgapur, east of Canning.
The mother of a BJP worker died while trying to save her son in Goghat. The allegation in this case goes to the grassroots activists. On the other hand, allegations of influencing voters are against state police. BJP candidate Debjit Sarkar expelled the state police from the booth. There are allegations of threatening the central forces in Chatra, north of Uluberia. In this case, the Trinamool-BJP is targeting each other.
