Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that he will stand by the orphans who have lost their parents or guardians in COVID From PM Cares Fund


 A statement from the Prime Minister's Office said, "In case of death of a parent, legal guardian or foster parent due to Covid-19 infection, the PM will be assisted in the PM Care for Children Scheme."


 The Supreme Court on Friday advised the Center to help orphans.  A high-level meeting chaired by the Prime Minister will be held on Saturday. 

                                              


 It was decided at that meeting that the education and health expenses of the children would be paid from the PM Care Fund.  


The Prime Minister's Secretariat has issued a notification saying that children will be able to get health insurance of Rs 5 lakh, interest free education loan and free education for up to 18 years.  Narendra Modi tweeted, "Help the future of the country."


                                              


 A fund of Rs 10 lakh will be created for each child.  From the age of 18 to 23 years, monthly allowance will be given from that fund.  So that higher education and personal expenses can.  If you are 23 years old, you will get 10 lakh rupees at a time.  It can be used for personal and professional use.


 School education


 If the child is below 10 years of age, the child will be admitted to the nearest central school or private school.  Private school fees will be paid from PM Care Fund.  School uniforms, books, notebook costs are also available.


 Orphans have the opportunity to be admitted in the central government's residential schools such as Sainik School, Naboday Vidyalaya between the ages of 11 and 18.  If you want to stay with family members or grandparents, you can study in a central school or a private school.


 Assistance in higher education


 Interest free education loan can be taken.  Interest will be paid from PM Cares.  In addition, the Central and State Governments will provide tuition fees, undergraduate and vocational courses equivalent to scholarships for these children.  If you do not get the scholarship, money will be given from PM Cares.


 Health insurance


 Health insurance facility of Rs. 5 lakh under Ayushman Yojana.  PM Cares will pay the installment up to 18 years.
