 A Marine Corps F-35 fighter jet collided in Imperial County, California, after colliding with a Marine KC-130 refueling tanker


 The pilot of the F-35B jet was able to get out and was undergoing treatment when the crew of the KC-130J refueling plane landed safely, the Third Marine Aircraft Wing source said.

  A U.S. Air Force F-35B jet was burnt to ashes after colliding with a refueling tanker on Tuesday, according to U.S. Marine Unit sources.


  The F-35B jet pilot is safe and undergoing treatment, the Third Marine Aircraft Wing said.  When the crew of the KC-130J refueling plane landed safely, the Third Marine Aircraft Wing reported.



  The crash happened in Imperial County, California, ABC News reported.


  "An F-35B came into contact with a KC-130J during the evolution of air-to-air refueling, resulting in a collision of the F-35B," the Third Marine Aircraft Wing said in a tweet.



  The refueling plane returned to the thermal airport and everyone is fine,


  No response was received from the Marine Unit.
