SFF Tibetan soldier martyred, Indian soldiers name Leader (Coy Ldr) Nyima Tenzin, (51 ) martyred by Chinese troops

 SFF soldier of Tibetan descent martyred in Pang Tso to protect India against Chinese PLA infiltration

The martyred officer was identified as  Company Leader (Coy Ldr) Nyima Tenzin, 51. 

New Delhi(AFP)-  soldier names Namghyal Dolkar Lhagyari, a member of the Tibetan parliament in exile, said that the Tibetan-origin Indian soldier was "martyred during the clash" on Saturday night.

 A Tibetan officer of the Battalion Development of the Special Frontier Force was killed and another Indian soldier of the same unit was wounded in the latest border clash with the Chinese PLA in the Pangong Tso area.

 The martyred officer was identified as deceased Company Leader (Coy Ldr) Nyima Tenzin, 51. 

 Exiled Tibetan parliamentarian Namghayal Dolkar Lahyagari told AFP that soldiers of Tibetan descent were killed "during the clashes" on Saturday night.

 According to him, another member of the Special Frontier Force included many ethnic Tibetans who were wounded in the operation in direct opposition to Chinese claims in their respective territories.

 The Indian army thwarted an attempt by the Chinese army to cross the border into Chinese territory near the southern shore of Pang Tso near Chusul in Ladakh between Saturday and Sunday night and occupied the southern shore of Pang Tso.

 On the night of August 29-30, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Army violated the existing military and diplomatic consensus during the ongoing stabilization of East Ladakh and launched a provocative military operation to change the stability, "Army spokesman Colonel Aman Anand said in a statement.

 China is desperate to withdraw Indian troops.

 

  Intending to thwart the Chinese invasion bid, the Indian military took appropriate measures to further strengthen its position and "and unilaterally thwarted the Chinese's intention to bring their own real reasonable occupation of the land".

 Disappointed by India's move, China has repeatedly complained to the Chinese embassy in India about the LAC situation, claiming that Indian troops have disturbed peace and tranquility on the border.

 The Chinese PLA blamed India for "grave violations of China's territorial sovereignty" and demanded the withdrawal of Indian troops from the region.

 Reacting to China's recent remarks, the MEA said China was responsible for the latest incident, adding that "even when the grand commanders on both sides could escalate the talks, tensions escalated."
