WASHINGTON(AP) - Jessica Krug, an associate professor at George Washington, claims to be one of the historians who wrote that she was in fact a white Jewish woman in suburban Kansas City. Krug claims that he spent most of his adult life "living in a concept, under his recognized identity that I had no right to claim: first the blackness of North Africa, then the blackness of the United States, then the blackness of the Caribbean Bronx."
In a statement released Friday, University Provost Brian Blake and Dean Paul Ohlbeck said: "It's a black vs. tour conflict between Jessica Krug and whether she's African or American black or not." Krug will not be allowed to teach in his class this semester. We are working on arranging lots of options for the students in her classes, which will be in touch with the affected students as soon as possible. ”
Krug has been accused of being an "anxious mental health monster" since childhood, saying he often admits to cheating, "but my cowardice was always stronger than my ethics."
According to the university, the biodata provided by Krug on the school's website identified imperialism, colonialism and African-American history among his areas of expertise.
Hari Ziad, editor of the online publication Resbatar, said on Twitter that Krug claimed to be Afro-Caribbean from the Bronx.
“We would like to acknowledge the pain that this situation in our community has caused to many and acknowledge that many students, faculty, staff and alumni are being harmed,” Blake and Ohlbeck said. “Know that we are taking this situation seriously and supporting our community
