New Delhi- Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of seven urban infrastructure projects worth Rs 541 crore in Bihar on Tuesday with the help of video conferencing

According to the Prime Minister's Office on Monday, the projects include four water supply, two sewage water supply and one development related to the riverfront

 The projects are being implemented by the Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation (BIDCO) under the State Urban Development and Housing Department, which has taken over the planning of the projects.

  Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will also be present as the chief guest among the invited guests.

  Elaborating on the projects, the Prime Minister said a sewage treatment plant has been set up under the Ganga Mission of Baur and Karmalalik of Patna Municipal Corporation.

  The water supply projects constructed under the MRT Mission in Siwan Municipal Council and Chapra Municipal Corporation will provide 24 hours pure drinking water to the local residents, it said.

 Modi will also lay the foundation stone of the Munger water supply project under the MRout mission.

  The Prime Minister said the foundation stone of Jamalpur Water Supply Project under AMRUT Mission will be laid.

  The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the foundation stone of the Mozaffarpur Riverfront Development Project under the name of Namami Ganga.
