WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump plans Monday that the federal government will take the initiative to launch millions of rapid coronavirus tests in the states this week and instruct governors to open schools for twelfth grade students in kindergarten.

These tests will be conducted on a state-by-state basis on the basis of population and governors will be given appropriate responsibilities to oversee it.  The administration, however, encourages states to prioritize schools.  About the plans, an experienced administration official said 6.5 million tests would be conducted this week and a total of 100 million tests would be distributed by governors over the next few weeks.

The tests were commissioned by Abbott Laboratories to supply more than 50 orders, the official told the AP.  A quick test of the company, the size of the credit card, the first of which does not require any sophisticated computer equipment for processing.  It publishes results in about 15 minutes.

Convenient testing is seen as essential to reviving and boosting the U.S. economy, but companies like Abbott have some side effects.  These are flawless and can ensure often positive results through higher grade lab tests.

The coronavirus epidemic has killed more than 200,000 Americans, according to Johns Hopkins University.
