Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Chirag Paswan today demanded that "the BJP-LJP will form a new government in Bihar and Nitish Kumar will not be able to retain his position after November 10."
"Now people are voting for change and development. The feedback I am getting from my party's candidates and workers clearly indicates that CM Nitish Kumar will not be able to hold his post after November 10. BJP-LJP will form a new government in Bihar," the news agency reported. ANI Chirag Paswan said in a statement.
The first phase of voting in the Bihar Assembly elections on Wednesday ended peacefully, with 52.6 per cent of the nearly 2.15 crore eligible voters casting their ballots. Their turnout, slightly lower than in 2015 due to the impact, has exercised their franchise.

The survey was conducted in 71 constituencies spread across 16 districts amid tight security and covid-19 regulations.
A statement from the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Patna, said the turnout in these 16 districts in the 2015 elections was 54.75 per cent.
This was the first major survey in the country to be conducted this Thursday, in the midst of the COVID-19 epidemic, and the last hour allotted was to extend the survey time by one hour from 6pm to give coronavirus patients a chance to vote.

The BJP brought charges against Rahul Gandhi for violating the Model of Conduct
The BJP in Bihar on Wednesday lodged a complaint against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi with the Election Commission, and a tweet on election day sought to “ask for votes” alleging violation of the Electoral Code of Conduct.
State BJP legal cell chief SD Sanjay Bihar had lodged a written complaint with the Chief Electoral Officer requesting "legal action" against Gandhi, who had held several rallies in the state the day before.
According to the complaint, Mr Gandhi today issued a statement on Twitter asking for votes. The time for applying for the first round of voting was 28 hours earlier.
