Actor Kangana Ranaut attacked the Maharashtra government for demanding the release of journalist Arnab Goswami.  News anchor - Suicide case is in judicial custody after getting bail in 2018.

  On Monday afternoon, Kangana tweeted, "Yeh sattan ke thekdar garibaner ka hak mar ke jo baithe hai, buddhachar hain tui kismet ke mere hamse puchte hai irate hamre, hum ko ip ladai se ki hasil hoga tanshah, ek ghar banay tha v tuda kara bai  Hi #WeWantArnabBack (These contractors of power who have rejected our poor, how can we get rid of them by fighting the dictators, I had a house and it was destroyed).  "

  Kangana is a vocal supporter of Arnab.  Earlier, in a video shared on Twitter, he said, "I am asking the Maharashtra government that today you went to the inner courtyard of Arnab Goswami's house, beat him up, pulled his hair and humiliated him."  How many houses will be demolished?  How many throats will you hold, how many people's hair will you pull and how many voices will you choke?  Sonia Sena, how many faces will be understood?  These voices will continue to grow.  Before us, many martyrs had high necks, they were hanged for their right to freedom of speech.  Whatever it is, the more you keep quiet, the more everyone will get up.  "

  Alibag police arrested Arnab Goswami and two others - Firoz Shaikh and Nitish Sarada - on November 4 last year on charges of non-payment of dues by the accused companies.  He was later remanded in judicial custody till November 18 along with other accused.
