Azim Premji Wipro, topped the list of philanthropy in the current financial year, donates Rs 22 crore per day
He donated 22 crore rupees every day. The annual donation amount is Rs 7,904 crore. And so Azim Premji of Wipro, an Indian IT company, topped the list of philanthropy in the current financial year. This year he is the 'kind Indian'.

Azim Premji overtook Shiv Nadar of ACL Technologies on the basis of information from Hurun Report India and Edelgive Foundation. He paid Rs 826 crore in the last financial year. In FY20 (FY20), his donations amounted to Rs 795 crore.
In the last financial year, Azim Premji donated Rs 426 crore. In the financial year 2020 (FY20), its amount goes up to Rs 22 crore per day. 7904 crore per year
In India, the number one 'rich man' Mukesh Ambani is in the third place in the list. His donation amounted to Rs 458 crore. Last year it was 402 crores.
Kumar Mangalam Birla & Family came fourth in the list with a donation of Rs 276 crore.
In fifth place is Anil Agarwal, the founding chairman of Vedanta, and his family. This year, they have given a grant of Rs 215 crore for social work.
