 NEW DELHI: Seven to eight Indian soldiers were killed in retaliatory fire from the Indian Army in response to a ceasefire violation across the Line of Control.  The Pakistan Army's list of dead includes two or three Pakistan Army Special Service Group (SSG) commandos: Indian Army sources told news agency ANI.

  10-12 Pakistani soldiers were wounded by Indian Army firing, which also destroyed a large number of Pakistan Army bunkers, fuel dumps and launch pads.

 

 The Pakistan Army has violated the ceasefire in multiple sectors from Uri to Gurez along the LOC in Jammu and Kashmir.  Three Indian soldiers were killed at two separate locations in Jammu and Kashmir as Pakistan-backed terrorists made an infiltration bid and Pakistan violated the ceasefire.  Army sources said two soldiers were killed in the Uri sector and one in the Gurez sector.

  "Pakistan started violating the ceasefire along the LOC by passing Daur, Keran, Uri and Naogaon in multiple sectors. Pakistan started using mortars and other weapons. Allegedly intentionally hitting civilian areas. Three Indian soldiers were killed in action (KIA) and three  "The army saluted the wounded soldiers. The nation wishes them the best of luck. The Pakistani army contingent suffered heavy casualties as its own troops launched mortal attacks and casualties occurred across the LOC. Several ammunition dumps, FL dumps and multiple terrorist launch pads were damaged," the Indian Army said.  The North Command said
