Gaza, 27 December: Hamas condemns the damage to a children's hospital in Gaza City during Israeli air strikes on ISIS military facilities in the Gaza Strip in response to rocket attacks.


On Saturday, the spokesman for the Islamic movement that runs the besieged coastal enclave, Hazem Qassem, said in a statement that Israeli air strikes were "barbaric aggression," Xinhua reported.


 

"Air attacks and bombings terrified civilians, and shrapnel hit children's hospitals and rehabilitation centers for the disabled," said Kasem.


On the previous Saturday, Israeli fighter jets hit targets of the Hamas military wing in the Gaza Strip in response to a rocket launch in southern Israel.


Sources said Israeli missiles hit Hamas training facilities in the east, west and north of Gaza city, adding that two people, including a six-year-old child, were injured.


Sources said Israeli air strikes damaged al-Durra children's hospital in the northeastern city of Gaza.


Israeli air strikes on Gaza in response to two missile attacks Friday night from a coastal enclave in southern Israel that caused no injury or damage.


No one was responsible for the rocket fire.
