 Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari tweeted today that the 25 km long highway lane in Hyderabad was done by NHAI staff in less than 18 hours.

 NHAI was the first to build 12.77 km of roads on one side of this four-lane highway.  Single lane has been doubled on that route.

 Earlier, after the construction of the highway, the workers used to follow the Linear Method in measuring the length.  Road measurements are taken as lane-kilometers from 2018 onwards.  As a result, instead of taking the overall length of the highway, the length of each lane is now measured.
