Mumbai, Februar, Mumbai police arrest another man in connection with a pornographic missile destroyed last week. So far, a total of nine inmates have been involved in the case, a police officer said on Wednesday. The city's criminal property cell arrested the 40-year-old defendant ninth from Surat in Gujarat on Tuesday night, he said.


Last week, a police cell raided a bungalow in Madh, Malwani area and destroyed a pornographic film rocket featuring a humiliated model and actor and uploaded it to apps and social media sites. Gehana Vassist was arrested for allegedly making pornographic videos and uploading them to a Mumbai court on February 7.



Five people were initially arrested and three more later arrested, the officer said. Those arrested included an actor and representatives from foreign production companies, he said.



So far, the police have registered two FIRs, including one after a woman accused her of being forced to participate in pornographic films, the officer said. In last week's attack, police seized six cell phones, laptops, cameras, memory cards and other devices worth GEL 5.68.


The defendants are protected by the relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code, the Information Technology Act and the Obscene Representation of the Women Act (Prohibition), the official added.
