The Gujarat government has chosen to broaden the Night Carfew check in time in four significant urban communities of the state, including Ahmedabad, till March 31, in the midst of the new spike in Covid cases.
The state government said in an explanation, "Gujarat government has chosen to carry out night Carfew limit in four metros - Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot from 10 pm to 6 am between March 17 and March 31."
This is the 6th expansion of the Night Carfew in time, which initially came into power in November a year ago after an abrupt flood in COVID-19 cases in these urban communities following the celebration season.
Gujarat has so far revealed 2,70,000 COVID-19 cases, out of which 2,70,000 patients have recuperated. The loss of life because of the sickness in the state remains at 4,425.
