The Hindu community in Pakistan was in shock after the mysterious killing of a family of five in Pakistan on Friday.

Family members were found dead with sharp necks and sharp knives at their home in the Abu Dhabi colony, Chuck No. 135-P, 15 kilometers from the town of Rahim Yar Khan, The News International reported.

Police found murder weapons, including knives and axes. Rahim Yar Khan social activist Birbal Das told The News International that Ram Chand is a Hindu meghale, aged 35-36.

He was a man of peace and had a happy life, and the incident took everyone by surprise.

According to the city government, more than 90 Hindus live in the country. The majority of Pakistan's Hindu population lives in Sindh Province, where they share culture, traditions and language with Muslims. They often complain of harassment from extremists.

A report filed with Pakistan's Supreme Court on February 5 found that most of the country's Hindu holy sites were in a state of disrepair.

Dr. Seventh Report Shoaib Suddle, who has been brought before the Apex Court, paints a gruesome picture of the country's most revered Hindu sites.

The commission was set up by the Supreme Court in 2019 to oversee the implementation of its decisions on minority rights.

It is unfortunate that the Board of Trustees of the Evacuee Trust (ETPB) "has not preserved most of the ancient and sacred sites of the Hindu minority community".

The only commission from Dr. Shoaib Suddle was founded by the Supreme Court but has three supporting members, Dr. Ramesh Vankwani, Saqib Jillani and the Attorney General of Pakistan have appointed a Deputy Attorney General to participate in the commission's investigative activities, the report said.

Some of the most important Hindu temples in Pakistan are the Sri Hinglai Mata Temple (Belochistan), the Sri Ramdev Pir Temple (Sindh), the Umarkot Shiv Mandir (Sindh) and the Churio Jabal Durga Mata (Sindh) Temple.

In December last year, a temple in Teri village in the Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was burned down by members of the radical party Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazal Ur Rehman's group).

The attack on the temple resulted in strong criticism from human rights activists and Hindu minority leaders, so that the Supreme Court ordered its restoration.
