World News- US Election Updates:

More than 2,600 ballots will be counted today in Floyd County, a count of Georgia's presidential race that never entered the final list.

Floyd County Republican Party Chairman Luke Martin said the once-counted ballot would probably give President Trump a nearly 800-vote lead over Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's roughly 14,000 votes, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.  Trump is currently leading in Floyd County, about 43% behind Biden.

Recovered votes could help GOP Sen.

"It's very important," Martin said.  "It simply came to our notice then.  I am delighted that the audit revealed that it is important to count all the votes.

The office of Georgia's Secretary of State Brad Raffensparger said voters missed the vote because they failed to upload a memory card containing the vote to the ballot counting machine.  Inequality in Floyd County doesn’t seem to be a huge issue, the Secretary of State said.

There were other issues with the voter list at this electoral level in Floyd County.  About half of the scanners in one batch of five thousand ballots were not initially recorded for Miss Hayer.

State Election Director Chris Harvey said 2,600 missed ballots would be added to the final vote count by the end of Friday's count.

“You want to count every vote first, but that’s one of the goals of monitoring: identifying problems,” Harvey said.  "All votes will be uploaded and the results will be."

Raffensperger, who began the recount last week, said he hoped to restore voters' confidence in the US 2020 election results.

“It will help build confidence.  It will be a one-time audit, it will be a calculation and a reconsideration, ”Rafensperger told a news conference.  "It will be a heavy lift."

The Secretary of State issued a statement just days after the election that the state was on the road to reconstruction as the presidential race approached.

"Right now, Georgia is very close," Raffensperger told a news conference on Nov. 6.  Are working to make sure. "

Raffensperger has spent an election period facing intense criticism from GOP and Democratic politicians and candidates running for office in Georgia.  On Nov. 9, every Georgian GOP senator, Kelly Loffler, and Perdu, their Democratic supporters, protested that Raffensperger had demanded his resignation because of flaws in the state election process.

“Although the blame must be elsewhere, Buck finally spoke to the Secretary of State.  The mismanagement and lack of transparency of the Secretary of State is not acceptable.  Honest elections are essential to the very foundation of our democracy, ”Loffler and Perdu said in a joint statement.  “The Secretary of State could not give an honest and transparent election.  He demanded that the people of Georgia fail and resign immediately.  ”

"It will not happen," Raphael Spencer told senators in a statement.  Georgia voters have hired me and voters will expel me.  "
